iConnect Β· How-to Β· updated Sep 6, 2026
Open the setup Tools β iConnect β Set up. Steps 1 to 3 take about ten minutes. Step 4 is on APD's clock and usually takes weeks, so start it early.
- 1Bring in your iConnect report. In iConnect: your provider record β Providers tab β Report β Provider EPI report, dates 07/01 to 06/30 of the current fiscal year, save as Excel, drop it in. WaiverSoft previews what it found before saving.
- 2Confirm your provider details. Your Provider ID and name are read from the report; check the name matches iConnect exactly and pick how visits are filed (Progress Note for most agencies).
- 3Match the people on the report. Exact name matches are proposed and confirmed in one click; link the rest to existing records or create them from iConnect's details.
- 4Ask APD for your certificate. The email to APD's EPI team is pre-written with the address APD must whitelist. Send it, then click 'I sent it'. APD schedules a short Teams call to check your photo ID, then emails the certificate and SFTP credentials.
- 5Enter the credentials from APD. Paste the host, username and password or key exactly as sent. WaiverSoft tests the connection and turns automatic sending on only if the test passes.
Things that trip people up
- A worker only appears on the report after they have logged in to iConnect at least once.
- A consumer only appears once their WSC has opened a Provider Selection record for your agency.
- Private keys pasted from email sometimes arrive with odd dashes or line breaks. WaiverSoft repairs the common cases; if it still fails, paste the whole file from BEGIN to END.
Every step has 'Stuck? Book a screenshare'. We'll do it with you, no charge.
