Life Skills Development 2 · T2021
Waiversoft runs Life Skills Development 2 (Supported Employment) for APD providers: book job-coaching visits against the T2021 authorization, let job coaches clock in and write a note about the job tasks, coworkers and supervisor, keep the Employment Stability Plan current, and bill each visit in the line's own unit.

How it works
Supported Employment has its own units, its own place of service, its own note and its own documents. Waiversoft handles each one.
Two codes, two units
Visits at the workplace
A note written for job coaching
LSD 2 documents
Also for Supported Employment
Cap the hours a job coach can clock per day on the T2021 codes. Time over the limit waits for your approval before it's billed.
A shift moved at the last minute? Unless you switch it off, coaches can start a visit that wasn't on the schedule, on a service authorized today.
Notes that are too short, name no goal or repeat earlier notes are flagged before you approve them.
Optional: visits aren't billed until their note is approved.
Give job coaches a different pay rate for Supported Employment than for their other services.
English, Spanish or Haitian Creole for the coach; the saved note can be translated to English with one tap.
Getting started
Pick Group or Individual, the region and ratio from the rate table, or attach the authorization PDF to Coworker and approve what it reads.
Mark who provides LSD 2 so their trainings show up, and turn off location for T2021 if your visits happen at work.
Coaches clock in and write the note; you approve it, then download the 837P claim file or the claim entry worksheet.
FAQ
Each authorization line has a unit type from the rate table. T2021UC (Group) counts whole hours: 30 minutes or less rounds down, 31 or more rounds up. T2021UCHI (Individual) counts quarter hours: the visit's minutes divided by 15, rounded to the nearest unit. The same count is used for units left, billing and pay.
Yes. The approved visit area is set around the consumer's home, so for work-site coaching you can turn off location for the T2021 services in Preferences. Those punches then save no location and give no away warning. If you leave location on, every punch shows how far it was from the home.
For the consumer: the Employment Stability Plan, the Monthly or Quarterly Summary (your agency picks which) and the Annual Report. For staff providing LSD 2: the Supported Employment Pre-Service Training and the 8-hour Annual In-Service Training. They appear once your agency has chosen its provider type, and you can add your own document types.
Yes. Every agency starts with it, and you can change its sections, voice and wording for your agency in Settings › Visit notes on the web.
